SERVING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Why are your cakes frozen?
We keep our cakes frozen in order to keep them fresh and instantly available at a moments notice for our customers. Did you know, freezing cakes holds in the moisture and refrigeration over 24 hrs dries the cake out.
Do frozen cakes still taste fresh?They sure do! Just ask our customers who've been buying our cakes for 41 years!
How long do your cakes take to thaw out?
Thaw time depends on cake size …
JFU – 30 minutes
2-3 serving – 45 minutes
6-8 serving – 1 hour
10-14 serving – 1.5 hours
18-24 serving – 2-3 hours
Where do you bake your cakes?We bake them right in our shop! We know the shop doesn't look that big, but believe us our back kitchen is a pretty decent size.
ORDERING & CUSTOMIZATION
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
For in-store purchases, not much time at all. All of our cakes are frozen fresh and ready to go. We give you easy thaw instructions. For decorated cakes please allow 10-15 minutes upon arrival for completion. Or better yet, call ahead and we'll have it ready for you the minute you walk in!
I like a particular design, but I want different bow colors. Can I change them?
Of course! We make all of our handcrafted bows in-house created to suit your theme, event, school, or company colors.
ONLINE ORDERING
When ordering from our website please be sure to add your pick up date and time (if necessary leave it in the notes section). Please also add a phone number to reach you in case we need to clarify your order. Online ordering is available 24/7, but keep in mind there are no pick-ups, deliveries, or shipments on Mondays. Yes, you can place orders online for Tuesday morning pick-ups! Be sure to note your pick-up date and time in the notes section.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver nationwide and next door! *NEW* Shipping rates are now more affordable! Once you enter your "ship to" address, different rates and carriers will automatically pop up for you to choose from! For local delivery call (562) 493-6550 for pricing. We also deliver via third party delivery apps Postmates, DoorDash, Uber Eats and GrubHub–be aware that options do vary on these platforms.
When do you ship?
We offer 2 Day delivery service Tuesday thru Wednesday and Standard Overnight delivery Tuesday thru Thursday–if order is placed after 1 PST your item will ship the following business day. We do not ship out on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays–so please keep in mind that if you place an order on one of these three days, your order will not be fulfilled and shipped out until the following business day. Please also consider nationally recognized holidays which may also cause a delay in shipped items. Courier service and Postmates, DoorDash, and GrubHub are available Tuesday thru Sunday. Why do you only offer 2 Day delivery Tuesday and Wednesday?
This system eliminates your cake sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. Thursday orders would not get delivered until Monday, and Friday orders would not get delivered until the following Tuesday. This would result in sitting in a warehouse for 4 nights. The longer your cake travels, the longer it has to thaw out which could lead to a potentially less than perfect looking cake upon arrival.
How much do you charge for shipping?Shipping prices and carrier options will pop up once you enter a "ship to" address. Prices will vary depending on zip code. We do not ship on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays–so please keep in mind that if you place an order on one of these three days, your order will not be fulfilled and shipped out until the following business day.
How do you ship your cakes?
We ship our cakes frozen and sealed. This all fits into our fantastic box system that keeps your cake in place and beautiful upon arrival.
Do you require a signature when shipping your cakes?
No we do not. Reason being is we do not want your cake being stuck at a facility in between reattempted deliveries. Please note that regardless of no signature required, a cake delivery will not be left at a business if closed. This may cause delay of delivery.
NOTE: We DO NOT refund items or shipping fees due to weather or any other unforeseen environmental acts of nature (COVID-19) which would inevitably cause transit delays. We also DO NOT guarantee shipping date when order is placed on or near a national holiday.

Do you have gluten free options?
Yes! We are happy to share that we have three gluten free options: our Lemonlicious bar (also dairy free); carrot cake; and chocolatey chocolate chip brownie!
Do you have vegan or gluten free options? We do! We now proudly offer our famous Chocolatey Chocolate Chip and Carrot cake flavors in a vegan/gluten free option. Available in our single serve 'Just For You' size and our 6-8 serving size.
Do you have dairy free options?We do! For now we have our Lemonlicious bar which is dairy and gluten free.
